Lydia Dowden

Lydia joins us as our Development Officer and is responsible for assisting in the deliverance of the training courses and in engaging donor support.

A recent graduate from Oxford University, Lydia specialised in Chinese studies and has spent time abroad in Beijing, Taipei and Tokyo. After reading War Doctor on a bullet train from Kagoshima to Osaka, Lydia was inspired to work for the Foundation, and has previously interned for the charities, United World Schools and Tokyo Hands.

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking and learning new languages.
