On Sunday 13th October, the Almeida Theatre welcomed the Theatre Friends of David Nott Foundation and supporters of the Foundation to a special event, “Doctor Theatre”. The evening featured some of the nation’s greatest actors: Peter Capaldi, Judi Dench, Lindsay Duncan, Stephen Fry, Ian McKellen, Simon Russell Beale and Imelda Staunton. They shared insights into their lives both on and off stage, and Judi Dench interviewed David Nott about his own experience in a rather different kind of theatre.
