The David Nott Foundation office is now closed due to COVID-19 restrictions and our staff are working remotely. Some of our forthcoming surgical training courses have had to be postponed and we continue to support surgeons working in austere environments, globally, using safer alternative means. Legacy

Legacies

David and Elly Nott founded the David Nott Foundation to further the principles and improve the standards and practice of humanitarian surgery. The Foundation achieves this through the education and training of medical professionals and raising the profile of humanitarian surgery in the UK and worldwide.

If, like us, you believe in our vision of a global network of medical professionals, trained to the highest standards, providing the best care to patients in austere or hostile environments, then a gift in your will means you can always support the Foundation in achieving its goals.

There is an unfortunate certainty in the enduring occurrence of conflicts and natural disasters. Wherever these occur, experienced and well-trained medical professionals are required to help victims and preserve life. We are the only charity dedicated solely to teaching and training surgical skills to doctors working in areas affected by conflict and catastrophe.

By deciding to remember us in your will, you’ll help the Foundation with its commitment to deliver training to more from across the globe, improve health outcomes and save lives.
