Christie Norris
Head of Communications and Engagement
Christie leads communications at the David Nott Foundation, ensuring the stories of our surgical trainers and the war doctors we meet are shared with the world. This work helps our supporters understand the true impact of our mission and why it is so important.
Christie joins us from the British Heart Foundation, with almost seven years’ experience of health and research communications, public engagement and scientific storytelling. She also brings a broad range of communication skills to the team, after working on large-scale fundraising campaigns, national media stories and leading the charity’s pivot to online events during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Christie has a health and science background, with a BSc in Anatomical Sciences and a Masters in Cardiovascular Science. She also has a Diploma in Public Relations and is a CharityComms Mentor to others starting out in the not-for-profit sector.
Outside of work, you’ll find Christie with friends, seeking out a great coffee, or up a precarious mountain with her Dad in Scotland.
