Deborah Garfen
Design Lead
Deborah sits within the Comms team and leads on all things brand and design at the David Nott Foundation. She has over 13 years of experience designing for charities, including the British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support and Anthony Nolan.
Deborah is passionate about user experience design, branding and digital design, and still has a special place in her heart for anything printed.
She began her DNF journey in September 2023, developing a bold new visual identity, website and suite of marketing materials to bring the Foundation’s refreshed mission to life. She continues to shape how we communicate our vision of a world where safe, skilled surgical care is available to all – ensuring our visuals, messaging and values work together to build connection and trust.
“We want our brand to feel alive, urgent, and hopeful – reflecting the extraordinary work of our team and the inspirational healthcare professionals we train.”
Outside of work, you’ll find Deborah somewhere in North London chasing after her two young girls.
