Gavin Cliff
Inventory & Procurement Officer
Gavin joins us as the new Inventory & Procurement Officer, ensuring that our training – both in the UK and abroad – is supplied with the wide range of equipment needed to run effectively and consistently. You’ll most likely find him working away in our dedicated store around Heston® (who takes a well-earned lie down in between missions…suspiciously in the prime viewing spot!)
He was made aware of the Foundation with the outbreak of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Inspired and indignant, he reached out with a desire to support our work however possible.
Gavin comes from a background in surgical training, having supported cadaveric and model-based labs for half a decade. Starting in medical devices, he became technical lead at Imperial for Core Practical Surgical Skills training sessions, upskilling Greater London’s CT1s and CT2s.
He has a keen interest in human anatomy, as well as a childhood love of history covering the revolutions of the 1800s. He plays the bass in his band and is very open to visits in both the office and at gigs.
