Hetty Cane
Programme Officer
Hetty is a Programmes Officer, working with partners to deliver surgical training to doctors working in environments affected by conflict and catastrophe.
Hetty joins the Foundation with experience in the charity sector, specifically focused on health and education in the Middle East. She has a degree in Geography (BA) from Durham University, in which she focused her academic pursuits on the study of international development, human rights, and the development of new economic markets. Her educational and professional experience is what inspires her to the Foundation’s mission of supporting the development of healthcare systems and ensuring access to safe medical care for all.
When Hetty isn’t working on Programmes, you can find her baking, reading, and trying out new restaurants in London.
