Nick Cartwright
Programmes Manager
Nick is overseeing the management of our Hostile Environment Surgical Training (HEST) courses in conflict and catastrophe zones. He also maintains relationships with operational partners on-the-ground and our dedicated faculty of trainers.
He joins us with over 10 years of programme management experience in various people planning and coordinating roles. Born and raised in Strasbourg, France, Nick went on to read Theology and Religious Studies at Bristol University. He served in the military, and then worked in the consulting and biotech sectors, including as manager of production operations for a biotech start-up which supported healthcare professionals with wound care products that significantly improve the health and wellbeing of patients with chronic wounds, through biomimicry. He also holds a European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) certified coaching and mentoring qualification through the OCM, and specialises in career and leadership development.
Nick is a big football fan and in his spare times enjoys playing 5-aside football and boxing.
