Rimah Safi
Programmes Officer
Rimah’s journey is one defined by a profound commitment to global health and humanitarian endeavours. Her role as Programmes Officer is testament to her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by conflict and crisis.
Raised in Palestine, Rimah embarked on a journey that has taken her from the heart of conflict-affected regions to the bustling city of London, where she currently lives. Rimah’s academic journey began with the pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Birzeit University. It was her experiences as a nurse in conflict-affected areas that ignited her passion for effecting change on a broader scale. This realisation led Rimah to University College London, where she successfully earned a Master’s degree in Education and International Development: Conflict, Emergencies and Peace.
As Programmes Officer, Rimah seamlessly integrates her academic background and professional experience to bridge the gap between healthcare and humanitarian efforts. Her role is not merely a job, it is a continuation of her lifelong mission to contribute to positive transformation in crisis-affected populations. Outside of work, Rimah enjoys cooking and reading books.
